ZIPPY2x2 - Driver app for iPhone and iPad

ZIPPY2x2 is a "hyperlocal short drop" two wheeler ride sharing service for women by women. This service is perfectly suited to India where women safety and security is a huge concern.
Also traveling short distances is a challenge since public transport is generally lacking, walking is not always possible because of quality of roads and pavements and cabs are not available for short rides or are too expensive. This service helps women get around their neighborhood easily by using this app and finding other women in the vicinity who have access to a two wheeler (typically a scooter) and are willing to share a ride.
Women who register as drivers are able to use their scooters as a means to generate some income in their free time. Women drivers can be anyone .... homemakers, professionals, part time workers, students. All they need is a scooter and a desire to have some fun. Beside income generation this service helps bring people together, make new friends, network and more importantly reduce the number of vehicles on the road and hence reduce traffic congestion and pollution.

Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
Car charger is strongly recommended while on shift.
